Accommodation

We hope to be centrally located at Clos a Jaon to enable ease of congregation, there will likely be a few of us in that location.

Sark has a range of other places to stay — hotels, self-catering cottages, B&Bs, and camping for those brave enough (you can’t bring the usual car full of stuff of course!). Because the island is small and popular in summer, it’s worth booking well ahead once you decide to join us.

Hotels

As of 2026 there are two hotels open, but this could change for 2028 so I’ll try and remember to keep this bit up to date… We’ve stayed at Stocks before (when we were DINKies..) which was great.

  • Stocks Hotel: https://www.stockshotel.com — central location, spacious rooms, heated outdoor pool, and fine dining using local produce.
  • Dixcart Hotel: https://dixcarthotel.com — Situated at the head of Dixcart Valley, offers a relaxed approach to island hospitality.

Self-catering cottages

Good if you’d rather cook for yourselves and have a bit more space and privacy — handy for families or groups. Options range from restored granite cottages to modern hideaways, many sleeping small groups comfortably.

B&Bs and camping

If you’d rather keep things simple, Sark has a few old-school B&Bs, plus a couple of campsites (including camping pods) if anyone fancies a more back-to-basics stay.

I’ve done a couple of camping trips and they’re great fun, particularly as there was no room for packing camping luxuries as it all has to come over with me on the plane! Sleeping under that night sky though – magic.
